An eSIM is a downloadable SIM profile supported by many newer phones. It avoids delivery time but depends on the exact model, region, and lock status.
Installation information should be treated as sensitive and used only on the intended device.

Physical SIM needs delivery and later assignment
A physical SIM works with devices that use a removable card. Checkout collects a separate delivery address without reserving an ICCID; operations staff assign eligible inventory after payment.
The line is not active merely because payment has completed; identity checks, delivery, and fulfilment still need to progress.

Base the choice on the actual phone
Check the model, whether it is network-unlocked, and whether another eSIM profile is already in use. Choose physical SIM when eSIM support is uncertain.
